In Term 3, we got the chance to make our very own films.

The theme for this year’s films, “confident, connected, actively involved lifelong learners”. Our teacher, Mrs Faalili put us into groups. My group was fantastic fish fingers ,We learnt about storyboarding, different types of shots and angles as well as how to hold the ipad correctly.

Our film is a drama about bullying others

    We have been working with Mrs Grant and learning new skills for cybersmart

Quality blog comments

In cybersmart we have been looking at blogs and adding quality blog comments.

We know that a quality blog comment must be POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL & HELPFUL.

A quality comment must have a greeting, a compliment, feedback and a question if you have one.

We have been drafting our own comments and publishing them on people’s blog posts.

We have used screencastify to share our comments and explain how they are POSITIVE, THOUGHTFUL & HELPFUL.

Hi my name is Zafar.

I go to Glen Taylor School I’m a year 5 and I am in Room 10. I am Fijian Muslim. I have two siblings. My goal for this year is  to achieve all my goals.

I am good at rugby, touch and basketball.

I enjoy reading, lunchtime and writing.

My challenges are to not talk during class time so I can focus on my work and finish the learning activities on time.

I am looking forward to be a role model for little kids
